The big butterfly came by for another visit today, but he flew off when I went outside to take his picture. I don’t think he likes butterazzi. While I was trying to figure out where he flew off to, I caught the tail end of something walking along behind the pond. A few moments later, I got another glimpse of a rather large raccoon walking along back there. That’s a little unusual for 10 a.m. Maybe she was heading back home after snagging some mulberries for breakfast? The potato vines are starting to take over again. I really hate going back into the woods, what with spider webs and having stepped on a nail back there once before, but I should probably go tear them down as best I can before they take over.
